The building owner is very sweet, she lives beneath in a 1-BR apartment. On occasion, she uses the yard, and I help her with odds and ends.

I’m a freelance producer who has been in the city since 2006 working in non-fiction and advertising. I have another business that involves vintage resale, which is reflected in the style of the common areas. I work from home a lot but also travel for work and fun so you/I never know. I will be getting a small dog this fall so you should not be allergic or adverse to them.

Regarding Covid--While the weather is nice, I have been socializing in outdoor settings (backyards/parks/camping) with the same group of people and getting regularly tested for active infection. As the weather gets colder I anticipate locking down but we don’t know the availability of rapid tests or if my work requires I’m out of the house, so we will see.

This room is excellent for someone responsible who is coming to Brooklyn to get settled in a new job, or here for a freelance job. Maybe you recently gave up your city digs to escape upstate and need a comfortable place to crash when you come in for work.  Or you need to move but can’t because of your current employment situation.

Open to other situations as well, but you should be employed, good at communicating, respectful, and responsible.

No conspiracy theorists, virus deniers or Trump supporters please.

Everyone’s Covid situation is different and I expect an open dialog and honest test reporting with a roommate.
